Travel to many invokes feelings of relaxation, fantasy, and escape. I think travel with an element of discomfort, unease, and discovery always makes for a more interesting story. It’s at the fringe of our comfort zone that we are forced to push ourselves, persevere, adapt, and ultimately, learn. When your mind wanders with your body, it is in these wonderful places that we get be our best selves. And if we happen to be doing that while SCUBA diving, eating exotic cuisines, or riding on a scooter down some foreign highway, all the better.
